Tender Care  is passionate about helping the special needs community, which is why we decided to sponsor a table at the upcoming 3rd Annual We Walk as Lions Dinner & Fashion Show. This event is held by Chasin A Dream Foundation to celebrate children battling illnesses and disabilities. It will take place Saturday, February 18th, at 5 pm at the Wyndham Grand. Our table will seat the Administrator of our new Lake Park facility, our top-level executives, and board members of The Miracle League of Palm Beach County.

Chasin a Dream’s mission is to provide life-changing assistance to families with children battling cancer, heart disease, cystic fibrosis, and other life-threatening illnesses and disabilities. The Founder, Lori Griffith, worked in the healthcare industry for 18 years, giving her an inside look at what these children and their families face every day. Lori wanted to make a direct impact by providing assistance year-round so she built Chasin A Dream Foundation.

We Walk as Lions

The We Walk as Lions Dinner and Fashion Show celebrates the bravery of the children as they battle their illnesses and disabilities. The theme for this year is “sun-kissed and salty,” which was chosen by the children (warriors). The lion mascot is depicted front and center since it displays strength, courage, determination, and leadership possessed by all of the young warriors.

Why should my child go to Tender Care PPEC?

Tender Care PPEC provides care for medically complex and fragile children from birth to 21 years of age in a daycare-like environment staffed with nurses, CNAs, and therapists. We are the first independently owned PPEC in the State of Florida with our initial center opening in 1988. This means we have an abundance of experience and knowledge in providing loving care to this special pediatric population. We have 6 Tender Care PPEC centers throughout Florida, with our newest facility located in Lake Park.

Our goal is to enhance the development of each child through collaborative relationships between families, physicians, nurses, and therapists. This holistic approach to care is carried out in an environment that allows the child to engage in social interactions with their peers. This results in thriving children, well-positioned to achieve their greatest potential. We also offer transportation at no cost and provide nutritious meals throughout the day.

What sets us apart is that we care for and treat every child like family. We have passion in our hearts for our children and a desire to see them succeed.
