Tender Care Attended the Developmental Differences Resource Fair!

Providing a Helping Hand for Special Needs Children and Families.

Resource Fair

We had a blast at the Developmental Differences Resource Fair on July 22nd! The fair was hosted by North Florida Behavior Consultants and the Jacksonville Icemen, located at Community First Igloo.

This fair was for families who have kids with developmental delays and admissions was FREE. Since school is around the corner, the fair had the resources and tools families needed for their child to be successful. There was also various trainings and vendors at the event.

One of the hosts of this fair was the North Florida Behavior Consultants. They are a private practice specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and educational services to enhance a child’s behavioral, social-emotional, and academic development. They serve children from 2 to 18 years old who have been diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, various conduct disorders, and more. Their services are conducted at homes, schools, and community settings.

The other host, the Jacksonville Icemen, is a professional ice hockey league in Jacksonville Florida. They are allowing this event to be held at their newly renovated community first Igloo at 3605 Philips HWY, Jacksonville FL.

Follow North Florida Behavior Consultants’ Facebook and the Jacksonville Icemen are on all social media platforms.

More About Tender Care

Tender Care PPEC provides care for medically complex and fragile children from birth to 21 years of age in a daycare-like environment staffed with nurses, CNAs, and therapists. We are the first independently owned PPEC in the State of Florida with our initial center opening in 1988. This means we have an abundance of experience and knowledge in providing loving care to this special pediatric population. We have 6 Tender Care PPEC centers throughout Florida, with our newest facility located in Lake Park.

Lake Park Location

Our goal is to enhance the development of each child through collaborative relationships between families, physicians, nurses, and therapists. This holistic approach to care is carried out in an environment that allows the child to engage in social interactions with their peers. This results in thriving children, well-positioned to achieve their greatest potential. We also offer transportation at no cost and provide nutritious meals throughout the day.

What sets us apart is that we care for and treat every child like family. We have passion in our hearts for our children and a desire to see them succeed.

We were so excited to have a table at this fair and enjoyed meeting all the families that attended.
