Going the Extra Mile – Literally: How Tender Care PPEC Travels Up to an Hour to Serve Local Families in Spring Hill Florida

At Tender Care PPEC, we understand that access to high-quality pediatric day health care shouldn’t be limited by geography. That’s why our team is proud to serve families across a wide area. Why We Do It

For families caring for children with medical complexities, the journey to receive specialized care can be overwhelming. We know that every mile we travel means one less burden for caregivers and one more opportunity for a child to thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.

Whether it’s providing skilled nursing services, developmental therapies, or simply a place where children can smile, play, and grow – we bring that sense of security and comfort to families across Hernando, Pasco, and surrounding counties.

A Commitment to Community

Tender Care’s transportation service isn’t just about convenience, it’s about compassion, equity, and access. Our fleet of dedicated drivers ensures that even families in more rural or outlying areas never feel isolated from the resources their children need.

We’re proud to be a trusted name in pediatric extended care, and prouder still of the bonds we’ve formed in each of these communities. From the oak-lined roads of Brooksville to the Gulf breezes of Hudson, Tender Care PPEC is here for the journey, and every step beyond.

Need Transportation? We’ve Got You.

If you live in any of the areas listed above and are wondering if Tender Care PPEC is right for your child, reach out to us. We’ll help you navigate every part of the process including the drive.

Because every child deserves access to care, no matter the distance.

Tender Care provides care for medically complex and fragile children from birth to 21 years of age in a daycare-like environment staffed with nurses, CNAs, and therapists. We are the first independently owned PPEC in the State of Florida with our initial center opening in 1988. This means we have an abundance of experience and knowledge in providing loving care to this special pediatric population. We have 6 Tender Care PPEC centers throughout Florida, with our newest facility located in Lake Park.

Lake Park Location

Our goal is to enhance the development of each child through collaborative relationships between families, physicians, nurses, and therapists. This holistic approach to care is carried out in an environment that allows the child to engage in social interactions with their peers. This results in thriving children, well-positioned to achieve their greatest potential. We also offer transportation at no cost and provide nutritious meals throughout the day.

What sets us apart is that we care for and treat every child like family. We have passion in our hearts for our children and a desire to see them succeed.

We are so excited to have a table at this fair and can’t wait to meet all the families that attend.

You can follow us on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
